Data and analysis notebooks for post-diffusion cooling effects on Hall-derived active lithium donor profiles in high-purity germanium
Description
This dataset supports the manuscript **“Post-diffusion cooling effects on Hall-derived active lithium donor profiles in high-purity germanium.”** It contains the measured cooling histories, the raw and processed 77 K Hall-profile data, and the Jupyter notebooks used for the reported profile fits and figures. Eight HPGe coupons were studied: four nominal Li-diffusion temperatures (240, 260, 280, and 310 °C) and two post-diffusion cooling protocols (short and long cooling), with one coupon per condition (`n = 1`). Every diffusion hold was 30 min. Figures 1 and 2 in the manuscript are photographs/schematics of the samples and apparatus and therefore have no numerical data file in this dataset.
Files
Steps to reproduce
1. Download all files into one folder without changing the Excel filenames. 2. Use Python 3 and install the packages in `requirements.txt`. 3. Start Jupyter from this folder so that `Path(".")` points to the Excel workbooks. 4. Run `Cooling_History.ipynb` for Figure 3. 5. Run `Dfit_long_cooling.ipynb` and `Dfit_short cooling.ipynb` for the individual fits and Figures 5–6. These notebooks save `Dfit_Long.png` and `Dfit_Short.png`, respectively. 6. Run `D_Compare.ipynb` for Figures 4 and 7. 7. Run `New_Model.ipynb` for the two Figure 8 panels and the Figure 9 interpolation. The manuscript’s Figure 9 is the 280 °C result; the additional temperature plots are diagnostics.
